We are looking for female authors, ages 35+ for an upcoming collaborative book series.
Whether you call it mental health or self-help for women, we are looking for YOU.
Choose the topic you have truly experienced in a life-changing way as a teen or adult.
Then, share your personal essay of 500 - 2,500 words.
The essay would give your personal insight into why you felt that way (topic) and what you did to get through it (self-help).
You can participate in any of our topics. However, we do like to mix up our authors to further spread out the opportunity.
This is similar to "Chicken Soup for the Soul"
Only participate if you have had a powerful, personal experience with the emotion and have healed. If you are still "raw" or "bitter" about it, you would be better off reading it than contributing to the writing of it. The tone of the submission will reveal itself.
We reserve the right to critique or deny submission.
This is perfect for women who have never been published and those who are hobbyist-writers. Of course, we are willing to consider best-selling authors but please know that "status" has nothing to do with who we accept.
Who we are looking for:
* Women aged 35 and over
* Women who have healed from the experience they wish to write about
* Women who have a Facebook, Instagram, Twitter pages (at a minimum) but the more the better
* Women who are fairly technologically savvy
* Women who are not procrastinators. You will be participating as a guest on Mozelle's podcast so timeliness is important.
* Women who strongly believe in co-marketing to help make it a success for everyone.
Once accepted, we reserve the right to replace you should you repeatedly fall short on deadlines.
No matter where you are in the world, if you are a woman over age 35 and would like to participate, just ask!
While you will be able to make money on the sale of the books, each book will feature an applicable non-profit.
There is NEVER a fee or cost to participate.
We only accept 22 authors per book. Each chosen author can contribute in up to 7 books in the series.
